fonts, as you know, can be difficult to read. this makes it even more difficult for blind, visually impaired and dyslexic people to read and understand.

fonts/fancy fonts are different kinds of text that are often used in discord servers, usernames, bios, etc. below are examples of fancy fonts.

here is what a blind/visually impaired person hears when they use text-to-speech on fonts.
what you can do is remove any fonts you are currently using, whether it is on youtube, discord, twitter, tumblr, instagram, etc, and replace them with the default roman characters, or decorate with non-language symbols. it would also help if you educated others about font usage. if someone you know is using fonts, send them a resource (this carrd, the rentry, websites, etc) explaining why they should not use fonts.thank you for reading, and have a wonderful day π
